TigerTail tow hook
Anybody have/use one of these?

I saw that a wile back but really had a hard time figuring out how to justify the cost. Seems like a lot of cash a selfwinding tow rope holder.
My bigger problem is that less than half the time am I towing form the rear.
It usually pulling someone out who got stuck a ahead of me and I'm behind facing them.

Looks like a neat idea, one of the drawbacks I see to it is the metal hook.

Safety. We use the sewn in hoop type strap and "D" shackles if needed. If the strap breaks, hook breaks or that hook becomes dislodged, that thing could turn into a little missile. Something you don't want to be hit with. Same reasons we run synthetic rope vs the steel braid in the winches. Just some food for thought for ya Since you won it, congratulations! You can turn around and make some money off of it and by some good recovery items with the cash and still have gas money for the quad left over
