Anyone know the dealio on this place? I had heard that the roads heading north off of the Yellowjacket road were cloased to off road vehicles. True? This weekend I want to explore the Elephant Cove jeep trail. I've been out there to Rock Canyon in my truck and there look to be a ton of places to explore.

I haven't heard about any of those roads being closed. I've never gone out to Elephant Butte. I have taken a road North off Yellow Jacket and gone down into the Barracks area, coming out at Mt Carmel.

Try calling the BLM in Kanab today or check at the state park.

Don't forget the Dino Tracks three miles past the state park entrance. Have you done the Indian Springs pictographs off Hancock Rd.? lots to do out there.
