RZR S on Hells Revenge Hot Tubs Moab Nov 08

Here is a little video hitting all three "Hot Tubs" on Hells Revenge Trial in Moab. The S makes it look easy but you can tell by the rubber on the walls these are not easy. Lots of Jeeps land on their tops in these tubs.

A Teryx didn't make it in #2 just before I tried.

Nice, we've done one of those before but I've never had the cajones to try the deeper ones.

I never tried the on the ATV. Too much vertical and not enough wheel base.

They are blast in the RZR.

Did ya even need a spotter rope for that climb?

Nope, it stuck like glue to the top.

Another group did Pritchett the same day. All the way to the top and back.
Left many 4x4s behind, including one that was with them when it broke its DL.

You got me thinking about the RZR That would be easier to haul around than the buggie I was thinking of eventually getting a Toy Hauler, but I'd be limited to just the buggy. With a RZR, I'd be able to bring someone else along at one shot

JP, thats funny you say that.
Virtually every guy I rode with got rid of their jeep or other 4x4 to move to a UTV because of the size.

Most of them have a toy hauler and load the UTV in it for the trip.

I have a Bulldogatv rack on my truck so its easy to haul to Moab and back and I can still tow my camp trailer.

Now that its street legal I don't even have to trailer ot the trail heads.

I think 40" tires make some of the more mundane obstacles too easy.
In the smaller rigs they are still a challenge and there are a lot of them.

A couple of guys on a rope can add a lot of stability in the nasty stuff.

There are still some obstacles that are plenty tough. I got stuck standing vertical in Escalator. Another guy rolled in escalator last May in a RZR.

My vote is the RZR S hands down. Low and wide and lots of power with great suspension.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Jeep and I've been doing that stuff for quite sometime. But, I'm to the point where my next step in Buggydom is a single seater. I'm in the process of selling the Jeep, not stout enough for the guys I wheel with.

I have seen the RZR's and now have seen you in action and I'm pretty impressed. You have me thinking...A LOT!!!

I'll take this to a PM, lots O' questions

Nice work. I added harnesses and ditched the seat belts in my RZR.

If I was doing that kind of riding often..I'd look into an aftermarket roll cage...the stock one is junk.

I have some nice Simpson harnesses that I had on the other RZR, just didn't get them installed in time for this trip.

I upgraded my cage on the first RZR. They were 060 wall crap.
The RZRs is suppose to be 085, suppose to be better with the rear supports so I'm waiting to see if they fold like the old ones did. Have not seen reports on that happening yet.
