I love that spot! I did it as a quick maybe-1/2-day toss-off hike the day after I came out of Buckskin/Paria last year. It is seriously one of the best bang-for-the-buck hikes that I have ever done.

There is an excellent line going up/down the SE side of the hill, in the photo below. I followed it on the way down. Very simple, but so satisfying to follow it all the way down.

Nice report of a wonderful location. I also love Yellow Rock, but when I reached the top, it was totally cloudy.
Hopefully the next time I'll be on the lucky side with sunshine and a lot of pics
