Tom Jones on the canyons group said it was snowing in the Zion area so the water might be chilly!

Here is a cut and paste of the two post:
predicted for earlier in the day, it took its time getting here, but
it is now snowing heavily in Mt Carmel, and presumeably in Zion NP.
Ram reports flurries on and off all day in the Park (Lady Mountain),
but no significant accumulation. Here in mt Carmel, it flurried
pretty good for half an hour, but no accumulation.

thanks scott. we got snow on mt charleston here, a lttle dust on top. had sleet and snow and rain mix out lake mead way yesterday as well for a couple hours. wasn't sure how encompassing this cold front was.
