Need help for climb/canyon (small reward available)

I have been contacted by the USGS to try and locate an apparently very important bighorn radio collar just east of Outlaw Peak in Dinosaur National Monument. The NPS was going to provide a helicopter, but is now unable to.

It sounds like no one else is able to get to it so they contacted me. I've been up there so I know the route up there.

I offered to help, but I need at least one more experienced person to come and I won

When do you plan on going?

How long is that exposure on the 5.4.

A more worthy cause I have not seen. Any idea how much tax money has gone into this "very important" sheep collar, sheep collar "installment", and now sheep collar recovery and reward? I don't think I want to know. Was this a spy big horn? Darned government spy program gone a muck again. Sheep have rights you know and we don't need the government listening into their conversations or tracking their whereabouts. Where is the ACLU????

The hike sounds fun though. I was about 20? miles from there today in the lovely Naples, Utah. I wish I could go but I don't have the mountain climbing experience. Also, you see, I like to start at the top and go down. It's an age, gravity, canyon sort of thing.

I can't go until at least Halloween.

We don't have to go as high as the 5.4 section, but the crux is probably the ledges at the saddle and the climb not far beyond. The saddle route is easy, but pretty exposed, the hardest move is harder, but not very exposed.

No, I don't. Maybe this will help:

As far as the reward it is vehicle mileage plus $18 a day (same as the standard volunteer rate) or up to $500 between the entire group. I just mentioned it in case it would provide some motivation for someone that might have to drive a long way (I actually live pretty close).

Also, you see, I like to start at the top and go down.
Actually, that's what we are doing. We start going down. Then we go up. Then down, then up, down again than up again one last time.
