question question???
Has anyone shot a BERSA 380 Thunder.
How is Bersa as a brand? Is it comparable to the ruger discussed here? So, Kid, you think you got what it takes to be a Punch King?

The .380 is very similar, but not a clone of a PPK. No parts interchange.
Being a blowback design the Bersa is more susceptible to "limp wristing" than the Ruger or KT which use a locked breech design. Even though it is heavier the Bersa may have more felt recoil than the Ruger because of the locked breech vs. blowback designs, but recoil is also very subjective and lots of things can affect how you personally feel it.
The larger caliber Bersas are completely different from the .380 and are exceptional firearms for their moderate cost.
The Ruger is easily carried in a pocket holster, the Bersa .380 can be but it is a little large for it.
They fill different niches. You just have to decide what will serve you better. Or do what I do and buy both.

I love my ruger LCP's, they have been great guns. Comfortable to shoot and compact....
