    SLC newb

Howdy all, got a nice slow day at work today so I'm finally getting around to the intro. My name is Brian, 30 yrs old, been living in SLC for about 5 years now, originally from Iowa. Primarily a mountain biker and snowboarder but also enjoy hiking and camping when I'm off the bike or board. Also a bit of a photo geek. Hope everyone's enjoying their summers. Feel free to say hi if you see me out and aboot.

Unfortunately I've got nothing but timer shot riding pics here at work so this is the best I've got to try and ID me.

    Welcome

I love the pic with the snow!!! It won't be long before we are blessed with the powdery stuff.

    Hello!!!

    Thanks for the greetings everyone.

Regarding that snow ride pic, that was taken a couple years back after the first early season snow on Big Water on the way up to Dog Lake. It was actually a really nice day for a ride up there, just a little cold on the fingers and toes. I was making an extended weekend trip to Saint George the upcoming weekend and figured I needed to find a way to get a ride in somehow. Funny thing is the trail was completely dry a few weeks later, gotta love Utah mountain weather. Worked out well though, had a good time and got a few nice photos out of it, that one actually was in Dirt Rag last year sometime.

The others were taken on White Pine (ride it before SOC gets their way) and Shingle Creek in the Uintas.
