Thurston Peak
I had a goal to get several county high points this summer and Thurston peak was next on the list . Its a two for one. Morgan and Davis counties. I drove up the beautiful Farmington Canyon on a gorgeous morning. Though many describe it as a rough road I had no problem in my Dodge pickup. I was even able to drive past the "Golf Balls" another mile or so befor I had to start hiking. The trail is really nice and the views spectacular. I was also able to nab a number of geocaches on the way. This was a relatively easy but fun hike.

Had a friend who had not done this one. So we bagged this on on his day off. It is a great hike we were less than four hours on the trail. Home in time for a big family dinner
See you on the Trail
