City Creek hills crawlin' with horny toads
Saturday I went hiking up the south "rim" of CCC (ridge to Black Mountain) just outside of Salt Lake City. And...I saw 6 horny toads on the hike - a new record for me on a single hike. The largest was about 6" long and the smallest about 1" Great Horny Toads! Git out there and see some!

We saw a huge "hatch" of them on Mount Aire a bunch of years back. Jillions of them everywhere. Cute little buggers!
I wondery if they're cyclic, like cicadas?
If they were dog sized, they'd be frightening...
