I admit this made me chuckle, but for different reasons. Am I the only one who is sick of paying $4 for a bottle of water and has started "smuggling" it through security? I always find it funny when I get away with 9/10 times. But then I think "what if the guy behind me is carrying plastic explosives"...

I guess if they are going to make me so miserable with the lines and taking my laptop out of the case and in it's docking station, and my shoes and belt off, and no liquids, and no personal items over 3oz, and it all has to fit in a quart size ziplock, AND NO WATER. I'd just like to know they are doing a good job, haha. This article helped confirm my "suspicions".

I agree the security is lacking. I once was caught with a knife in my backpack (it was left in some hidden pocked from the days before). However, on a second occasion I opened my back pack inside the plane and there it was: one of those medium size all purpose kitchen knifes. I decided to keep the secret to myself.
