I love the Olympics and plan to watch as much as possible.
I'm interested in how the hoops team will do this time around. I like the swimming and track and field. I wish that we would get more coverage of some of the more unique events: kayaking, mountain biking, etc.The gostak distims the doshes.

Why does the U.S. have such dumb outfits everytime?
I am way excited. I am hoping for a clean sweep this year. U.S. getting gold, silver & bronze in every category :).

I'll watch as much as possible. The 52" HDTV makes such events so much better than the small TV we had in the motorhome. Only downside is the over-long, drippy features NBC has come to love. For me, show the action, I'll read up on how Joe Shmoe overcame whooping cough to go on to be the waterboy for the women's soccer team.
The Chinese have outdone themselves on the new venues, but what about the smog? Can they keep it at bay for two weeks? Pure melodrama.

Wow, so far, opening ceremony has been sensational. However, I got bored with the parade of nations.

The Parade of Nations is only slightly interesting. However, the festivities up to that point were absolutely fantastic. And a bit intimidating as well. Bravo!
