Goat Watching - Looks like fun

We're going to be up in Beaver for this tomorrow:

    http://wildlife.utah.gov/news/08-07/goats.php

We drove out to an area called Big John Flat over July 4th and Yo was able to find a huge herd of goats with the binos. The roads out of the flat were still closed at that point.

The gates to Big John flat are now open. It's a great place to hike, ATV and watch the goats and turkeys. There are also brown bear, mountain lion, moose and elk up there. Awesome location!

Thanks, Kurt, bringing the rain jackets! Hopefully the showers are late afternoon.

I'll be trying to get some good photos, hope the animals cooperate.

All the signage up there (beyond 9500') indicates "Brown Bear Country" and about how "shy" the bears are.

I haven't been up to see the signs, I don't dought you at all but---If the UDWR is transplanting grizzly into the Tushars I would think it would be highly publisized.
Could it be that our beloved fish and game might not know the differance?
