    Yes I thought the same. I understand that some geologist now think after the 1991 partial collapse that Landscape are is more stable not less stable as originaly thought. Hence it hasn't collapsed.

    I recall that the trail is deep between fins at that point. The last time I was there was the day after we got married. Abby and I will think about hiking back there in October to see how it ends up being routed. -R

    What ended up being the final outcome on this? Is the Devil's Garden Trail open again, and/or did they move the trail at all? -Richard

    The Devils Garden Trail is open. I haven't gotten up there yet but the Ranger at the VC showed me a photo array of the new section which bypassaes the rubble that was Wall Arch by ascending a fin to the left. As you come down off of the fin you rejoin the old trail.
