Mineral Fork/Lake Blanche Loop TR
Several years ago we hiked up Mineral Fork and thought it would be nice to go on over to Lake Blanche making a loop hike. Finally, last weekend we managed to do the hike. Mineral Fork is not in a wilderness area so ATVs and trail bikes are a possibility. We avoided that by heading up early and crossing over into the wilderness in the Lake Blanche drainage. A nice hike overall. So many people have been to Lake Blanche that I almost didn't do this TR but thought since it is a bit different I'd post it.

Nice shots!
Wildflowers are a poppin' up yonder.
Looks like a great hike. Did you see folks on the Sundial?

We saw quite a few people all around Lake Blanche but didn't notice anyone on Sundial but there could have been people there that we didn't see.

Thanks for sharing. Here in steamy Florida, it's good to be able to see the mountains.
