    Mueller Park report 7/29/08

We all got pwnd by traffic, whether we were stuck in it or just waiting for everybody to gather, thanks to that Semi Truck rollover at the I-15 215 junction.

So, the original plan was to shuttle up to North Canyon, but it was so late that we just went up and back on Mueller Park.

It was pretty smoky from the City Creek fire too, but made for a GREAT sunset.

So let's see, there were @10 of us? We hit the trail at 7 pm.

I'd like to announce that for the first time, I, along with a couple of us, made it to the rock without stopping. That was a pretty big step for me. I didn't even leave my pedals on any obstacles.

Oh, but I did crash pretty hard in the PARKING LOT. I may have even broken my left hand. I can't hold any weight with it.

Hey, I thought you guys didn't allow anyone to ride with you in lycra shorts and a biking jersey. That guy is so punk rock (think about it. It's true).

My tuesdays became a bit more open this last week. Next time you come up north, I'd love to come if the wife lets me out of the house for the whole evening that is.

Great pics. I am sorry I missed out. I am not sorry about missing that traffic though.

Sweet! Good job on the dabbing... Now try not to dab and make it to the rock in under 20 ;)

The traffic was absolutely diabolical! But the ride made up for it.

I used to ride this trail several times a week during high school. It can be the funnest downhill but you're right, the traffic is shit. I cannot count the number of times I went off the trail due to someone on the climb. In reality, I shouldn't have been going as fast as I was but it's just soo damn fun

I was thinking about you guys when I was sitting in my truck on the F'N freeway! Who would of thought if I left that early I would have not been able to make it?

Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

Fourtycal and I took I-15 to 89. It took us about 90 minutes from 4500 South. Nutz.

The video's done. YouTube's dragging it's butt on processing it, but here it is on KSL.

    Great video and awesome music.

Way to damage and trespass on church property.
