Indianapolis, IN
IM currently out of town in Indianapolis, IN on business and got finished up a little bit early today and got to hit up downtown. I really like the character of this city, very midwestern with older gothic/neoclassical architecture with about 20 city blocked dedicated to not forgeting our military. Here is a small sampling of shots I took today in downtown Indianapolis, IN. Enjoy more to follow,
Parking meter with sidewalk of American legion park in the background.
Soldiers/Sailors Monument, built 1902 and something like only 30 feet shorter than the statue of liberty
A statue in the park with the IN World War Memorial as the backdrop(white blance or curve goof up, the building gives it away)
IN WW Memorial
American Legion Mall
Veterans memorial(forground), IN WW Memorial(second building) and Univerisity park buildings all lined up.
