    Fun in the San Juans

Here are some pics from today. I got hailed on during the last rap. 5
rappels total, 3 are mandatory, and a couple down climbs. The canyon is
a rope eater with lots of slippery wood too. Short and really fun.

Looks like a great time! What a beautiful place! I lived in Durango from 1982 until 1985 and really loved the surrounding area. Great photos and thanks!

Your photos are wonderful (checked out the Picasa)!!!! Looks like a ton of fun. San Juans are one of my favorite Colorado mountain ranges. So darn scenic! Thanks for sharing.

More fun stuff, this one is really close to my house, except for the hike in...

2 raps, a few downclimbs and fun swims, a little trespassing and some bear dodging made for a fun morning....

Dude, looks so fun. I don't think I will make it out there this summer, too much going on out here, hopefully next year... oh wait you'll be in SLC, well look me up once you get out here I'm sure I'll be down for plenty of stuff closer to home.

Cascade Creek, 10 or so raps (last one is 300 feet!) and lots of fun downclimbs:
