    That's the first type of snake I ever held (Anaconda) that got me started on my love of snakes.

    Nice coincidence that I watch this after doing some window shopping at a reptile store.

    And that video scared me as well...I was paying close attention to see the head to figure out what type of snake it was.

    That entire post would be terrible out of context...

    The first time I was in the Amazon, I asked where I can see an Anaconda. The locals replied with something to the likes of "There are not many around here because we kill them. We don't like them because they eat our (young) cows".

    I wanted to see one of the big ones in the wild.
