Canyoneering Injury?
So noobfest was 3 weeks ago, but today this huge bump shows up on my left elbow.
It's been a little tender for a couple of days, feeling like a bruise or something very shallow. I had a tiny scab on it from scraping a canyon wall, but that's the only thing I can think of.
I don't remember bumping it or anything, but I wonder if I hit it at noobfest, and maybe it's finally festering up? I wonder if I even cracked something.
It is very sore and tender now.
Compare my right and left.

I'm just curious if anybody thinks I actually cracked or chipped my elbow 3 weeks ago, and it's finally starting to show symptoms?
I guess it's not quite a canyoneering topic, but....

Your right handed correct?
Start using the left and they'll blend right in.

No one told you of all the gross things in the water when you go canyoneering. I hope you got your shots or things are going to be growing all over your body!!!

Hey you have a soap dispenser at your house?!
That's cool!!It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Looks like you might have a bone chip that has gotten between the bones. I had that happen two years from a break almost 20 years previously. Mine was the size of a small orange.
It will go away but can return at the most inopertune time.bruce from bryce

I thought your wife is a nurse?
Is she not giving you the TLC you need?

!!!!!!
No red flags 'Beech', but almost 16 years ago after a trip through Heaps I had a large, very tender bump on my left hip. Soon I felt symptoms of a very severe flu. Went to my family doctor to get some help, and they said that they could make an appointment for next week. I said "You don't understand! I need help right now!"...well to make a long story short...I went to the ER and was into surgery within 1 hour of arriving so that they could remove a very deep "infection" and spent 4 days in the hospital enjoying penecillin IV and 2 times a day in a sitz bath with an open hip wound.
May I suggest that if you start feeling "ill", go to the doc immediately!

It basically means, swelling of the elbow.
To which I responded, "I believe I already knew that."
Luckily, she didn't charge me a co-pay.

Got some Xrays today, it may be a little bone spur. Strange.
Got some antibiotic and 800MG Ibuprofen. ooh, thanks for the prescription to Ibuprofen in big pills.Keep that stuff secure, don't let it get out into the public. They may figure out the pure value in one pill vs 4.
