Can I damage a down sleeping bag by overly compressing it?
Thats basically my question. I don't keep it stored compressed, but just when I'm using it. I have a compression sack and really cinch it down.
Thanks.Back in '82, I used to be able to throw a pigskin a quarter mile.

It is my understanding that compressing it very tight is not a problem, just be sure that you do not store the bag compressed. The bag would optimally be laid out and not compressed or stuffed at all.
