TR - Mill whatever fork it is???

So I try to stay in shape by hiking a few times a week. I head up some random trail for an hour or so then turn around and never mention anything about it on here, but today I took along my new camera (I've been cameraless for three years) so I'm posting a TR since I took some pics. I went up the Mill whatever fork trail (I can't keep them straight). The one on the North side of the Big Cottonwood Canyon road from the S-Curve (the trail you take to get to Hidden Falls and all the Sport Climbs... Black Monday, etc...). Some of these I posted in the Dark Room section so sorry for the duplicates.

    Eric.

Mill B North. Nice shots of the Millstone and the Sundial.

    Was that goat dead?

Neat trail, with nice overlooks into Mill B South.

It's just my luck as well. Seems like all the animals I come across are dead, heh. Or was it sleeping?

Yea, the goat was dead, didn't stink yet so couldn't have been dead long. I used my brand new Nikon D80, it's basically an entry level SLR, so not a point and shoot, but not really professional. There are much more expensive cameras out there, that's for sure.

I once saw a document saying that animals for example goats in the mountains have a hard time to survive in the winter. They usually run when they hear people coming around and if they run too fast they burn their energy down and are vunerable to death because of lack of energy.
