    Land Of OZ-Yellow Brick Road-Trachyte May 26 2008

Somewhere over the rainbow way up high
There's a land that I've heard of once in a lullaby
Somewhere over the rainbow skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
    Really do come true.
Ok, not in a lullaby but from some beta on outdoorzen.org and the skies didn't turn blue until Sunday of the Memorial Day weekend. But the place lived up to expectations.

There were 3 rappels that we built anchors for, lots of water filled potholes, one swim, some stemming and fantastic scenery.

No bolts in this canyon. All of the rappels have so many natural anchoring possibilities.

Yet another outstanding TR, thanks for sharing!

That Neon-esque pothole/arch is just up some side canyon on the egress I assume? Looks like it would be fun to rappel through there.
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

I think it is called Tik Tok bridge. It is just past the exit. We were planning on rappeling it, we brought the big ropes, but we ran out of time. Hope to get back to it next time. I think it can be done with one 300 foot rope.

If only we had about another hour and a half of sunlight I think we could have done it. Those pictures overlooking the valleys are amazing.
