    Oak Creek

I should have posted this earlier, but I have been procrastinating it for some time now. In march I spent my spring break around Sedona, AZ.

We hiked some of Oak Creek Canyon, but unfortunately not nearly as much as I wanted to. We went early in the season, so further up the canyon there was quite a bit of snow, At one point we were sinking in up to our knees in a deeper snow drift. There are many river crossings with simple rock or tree branch bridges, but I would absolutely recommend river walking shoes.

We only made it up about 2 miles due to time constraints, but it was still a great experience. I will definitely be going back there to hike more in the canyon and the area.

West Fork of Oak Creek Canyon is one of my favorites from Sedona area. Thanks for sharing your pix.

Gorgeous! I've only been out there once but it seems like a perfect place for camping. I love that it's such a dry area. The epitome of summer...
