Tattoos. Love em? Like em? Hate em? Got em?
Show off your work. Let us know what you think about the circus freaks that decide to ink up their bodies. Or have something you are working on? Let's hear about it.
I edited my first post in here just so I can put all my tattoo pics together. It's finally DONE! My peacocks! I'm having a hard time getting pics of it by myself when the lighting is funny in my house this morning. I do love it and thought I was done........but a trip to Denver is in my near future and it's hard not to stop by Twistedsol.com and see my girl there for a little sumthin sumthin. I swear it's gotta be worse than crack!! This tattoo obsession.

Has nothing to do with being chicken. I have no fear of needles, I even give blood through the back of my hand, not my arm. Chicken, no Marking up my body permanently, it has to be something good...not a fad.

I started getting tattoos when I was 15 (22 years ago). Had a wierd attraction to them at a very young age (as long as I could remember). I have a weird obsession with decorating everything around me. I love anything ORNATE. So it kind of filtered into what I have on my body to this day. My first tattoo was done at one of the 3 tattoo shops back in Houston very early on......before the fad. Now there's over 100's of shops and artists on every corner. I'm proud and in love with body art. I bought my dad his first tattoo for his 60th bday against my mothers wishes.

I don't have a tattoo, but I do have an a**hole magnet on my forehead.....at least I figure I must have because that's what most men that I attract turn out to be! I really need to see a specialist about getting that thing removed!
Never regret anything that made you smile!

Back on track...I have none. Almost had a few but never went through with it. I'm glad I didn't. I think if I had, I would have a full sleeve right now, flaming death skulls and all. Thats the only problem I have with them. I work with kids in a behavioral health unit. Not the best place to be walking around with a full sleeve.

Nothing wrong with a full sleeve of flaming skulls. I work on snotty, rich, Aspen women all day long and my paycheck depends on them. I don't hesitate showing off my work and they still spend. HAHA!!!

As with Dave, I've no body art but am not opposed to it. I just always managed to talk myself out of it.

I have two, one on my arm and one on my back. I will have to post some pics.
I have decided on my next tat, The Green Man. Where to put it is another story... And coming up with the $ too.

While I don't have any tats (yet), I really am tired of seeing the big butterflys (that will later turn into gigantic vultures) on the lower back of ladies. That's not classy at all, IMHO.
I've often considered some form of military tat on my bicep, but the wife really doesn't like the idea.
Oh, and Abirken, why does your name now show "***JACKASS***" under it?

Yeah, what happened to Mountain Betty?
Like I said somewhere earlier, I've been thinking about a tatoo for a while. I need to find someone who will design it for me. I once almost decided to get one back in Mexico but wife said"Always look at the bright side of life"
