    Now - 203

I was shooting for 200, but now realize that 185 is going to be my long term goal.

    Secret: diet and exercise.

I just started boot camp at the Ogden Athletic Club. It's 3 days a week for 2 months from 6 am to 7 am. I weighed in at 312 pounds with a fat percentage at 35%. My goal is 230 pounds. But for some reason I want to accomplish dunking a basketball on a 10' hoop. Don't know why I just think that would make an academy award winning movie someday. I think I'll write a memoir about it and call it "DUNK". They say anything is possible. And that sounds like a pretty impossible goal. From going from rupturing my achiles tendon at age 33 to dunking a basketball on a regulation hoop at 35. We'll see how it plays out.

    November 2009: 230 Pounds

    Today: 212 Pounds

    My goal is 200 pounds.

I'm not a snacker or big eater. Most of my extra weight came from too many glasses of red wine, stress and lack of exercise.

I'm now exercising every morning at 0500 before work and trying to run at least a mile every night.

Most liquor intake has been moderated if not eliminated. Instead of wine for dinner, I'm drinking milk.

Goal for now is 230, then we'll go from there.

Haven't really changed my diet too much, mostly just eating smaller portions and being more active (hiking, jogging, biking, walking, etc...)

    August 2009: 182
    October 2009: 165

Since then I stay between 165-168.

I am currently battling through the P90X videos. I exercise 6 days a week. It really is about consistent exercise, portion control and knowing the emotional triggers that make you want to eat when your not hungry. For me its TV. I love eating while watching TV and when I am bored too.

Old thread, but I thought I would update it since I met my final goal a few weeks ago. I lost over 60lbs since the beginning of the year and am down under 210.

Very cool I'm at @ 208 right now, I've been back on the diet for 2 months.
I've completely dropped Diet Mtn Dew for that long too. Craving still...

I miraculously dropped 12lbs in the first 7 days of August. Still losing... which is good, means less weight to huff up that mountain for the Xterra race. My goal is another 4lbs by race day.
