If you could change one decision you have made....

What would it be and why?

In '03 I didn't have a choice, everyone was going, but I volunteered the second time. Stupid, and I knew what I was getting into too.

I never should have gone back to Iraq.

The worst part? I wish I was there now. I still miss it. There's no explaining it. That weird?

That all that weird. Allthough fleeting, I get those feelings of wishing I was back as well. However thats not the thing I would change. I would have done a little less partying and a lot more school. Seems like you can't do anything these days without that little piece of paper.

Nothing strange about that, my brother-in-green. Those who have never served just won't ever understand the camaraderie that occurs for those that are so close as to almost become family.

The regret will fade. Enjoy your family and life. You've done your duty.

I would never have dated a girl named Minerva.

We talked about marriage and got very serious but I knew it was all wrong. I tried dumping her 7 times and she kept coming back around as if we weren't dumped. Dating her made me think less of humanity and really opened my eyes to "users". I have never been as cheerful of a person for having dated her (and this was 8 years ago).

Anyway, I wish I never dated her!

Again, I wouldn't marry that woman, heh.

That's a tough call.... because our mistakes are part of what makes us who we are. While I'm not happy with every choice I have ever made, some of my worst decisions were the biggest character builders and made me a stronger person.

Yeah... the blond, brunette or red head. The slutty, smart, wild or affectionate one. Those are hard choices.
