Chestler Park in the Canyonlands with my infant son

We took off Friday after I got off of work and went straight down to the Needles District. We found an awesome campsite thanks to the suggestion of one of our awesome site members, and had a great weekend. We hiked 7 miles of Chestler Park. It was awesome! My 3 month old son was in a "snugglie" on my chest for the whole hike, and I ended up having to carry a lot of his weight due to fear of him choking on the strap, so long story short my arm is exhausted. Anyway, it was a great weekend, and I was really proud of how well my son did on his first trip.

Sorry everybody, my wife made me resize my images because they were so big. I will have my pics back up soon.

Nice report, DiscGo. We all enjoy seeing family photos like these. Start the kids young and they will always enjoy the outdoors.

Yeah, I love that he has the pacifier half in and half out.

Great pics - I love the last one of Graden all bright-eyed in the car seat.

But I'm curious - why are these in the General Discussion area? This is a hiking trip report; goes in the the Hiking section, I would say!

Kevin are you just taunting me so you can get closer to the coveted 1000 posts? You are way close, so I was just wondering.

    It's so close, I can feel it! 961, 962, 963...

Well, that's not the only reason - taunting you for its own sake is pretty fun, too...
