    Polish hiker

    Hi all,
Feels a little like a dating site, heh, but at least it's free. I moved to Utah about a year ago from New York and I'm looking to find some folks to go hiking, camping, fishing with. Hopefully, I will find you here ;-)

    Welcome

If you live in the SLC area you have it made. There are lots of members here that do that kind of thing there.

Why does this seem like a dating site? We are very undatable around here!

Hi Tanya. Feels like it because you have to say a few words about yourself, heh. I'm glad I found this place.

If you love the outdoors or even like them and want to know more about them, you have come in to your own. This site rocks, and I think you will love it!

    In short: Welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome. What I love about Utah is that even though half way to Causey reservoir I realized I forgot my fishing license, I was still able to pick a random hill and just head up ;-) I don't know the name of the hill but it was near Browns Hole. I walked from Boots Campground across Highway 39 and just started going up ;-) Nearly ruined my shoes though. Next time I'm gonna stick to trails.

Woohoo finally we get another foreigner in here, now I don't have to catch all the crap about my accent You do speak with an accent right?

JK bud, welcome to the site. Hope you find what you are looking for here. A lot of times we post invites to different outings (hiking, backpacking, canyoneering, etc) so keep a look out for it.

Thanks, Alex. I'd like to think I have a Brooklyn accent since I spent 15 years of my life there but fuggettaboutit! Yeah, I got an accent but folks in Utah are too nice to point it out too often, heh. You're not that French physical therapist at St. Mark's, are you?

Well then we're brother Slavs, heh. How the hell did you end up here? No offense Utes but it is a pretty remote place for Eastern Europeans. Alex, do you ever shop at European Tastees? Moskievskaya rocks. And good pickles, of course. Thanks again for warm welcome and I will keep an eye out for invites.

    Howdy

    Where from New York?

No, I really don't. My mom goes to all these Russian stores around town, but my wife converted me to a homemade american food.

Thanks guys. This site is really what I've been looking for. I have to head to Moab to do some hiking one of those weekends. Before it gets too hot. After reading about Kings Peak, Mt. Nebo seems like a one day trip. I'd love to do both but at least with Kings Peak it would suck sitting in a tent all alone, heh. Also, can't wait till some of the snow melts on the Wasatch front.
