Looks like a fun canyon. I wonder what you did have to say about it.

it was fun. and now that my hissy fit has run its course i'll elaborate again.

went out to red rocks national conservation area and descended lost creek over the weekend. over all i give it a "nice" on my scale of "blah" to "very nice" because of the mid canyon bush whacking. some very nice raps and much fun down climbing. anchors were abundant and we had to rig a few drops. the approach from the th off rocky gap road is unrelentingly steep. if you go all the way up to the ridge top before getting into lost creek you get a real nice view of bridge mountains bridge across the maze. upper lost creek has a few nice rappels and then it is a bushwhack for a bit. just when the bushwhack was becoming a bigger buzz kill than buzz killington, it got prettified again. a few short bush whacks after that but nothing long lived. water was avoidable w/ some effort in spots. no worse than thigh to waist deep if not. and we had just a trickle of water flowing thru for some added audio stimulation and a teasing shower going off the final rap. over all a nice day.
