Millsite Reservoir
Today was my first fishing trip of the year. We decided to go to Millsite. We arrived at 3:00 to some nice weather.
The first fish was caught within five minutes on a Jake's lure. It was a small release. After that we weren't able to catch any more fish on lures. We went to the old reliable worms. Soon Mike hooked another fish and when it got near the shoreline, there were two fish. The other fish was tangled in the line but escaped after coming to shore.
At the end we caught 5 rainbows and 1 splake.
After getting home, I tried my hand at filleting. It is not easy, I was able to remove the backbone but left all the little bones in the fish. I need some more practice before I can have some beer battered fish.

At 5:00 the wind was blowing a little and when we got to the vehicle the wind began blowing fairly hard. So I guess you can say we got blown out.
