paria/hackberry area
talked to a friend today and round valley draw was full of ice and bull valley gorge was flowing good and snowy/icy. and not just patches here or there, but thick. in places bridges where water was cutting under and flowing thru. wondering if deer creek or stone donkey would have any of that hazard in them ? reeeeeeeeeally want to do one or other or both next weekend, but ice in a canyon sounds less fun than no ice.
also just talked to a buddy who had to bail on deer creek last year spring due to nasty deep prolonged quicksand.signature
