I don't think he wished for me per sa - just the "sandwich". I don't think he much cares who makes up the 2 slices of bread just as long as he is the meat in the middle.........

I can relate. I am 48 as well and I honestly don't feel any different than I did in my 20s and 30s. I think attitude has a lot to do with it!
