newbie from the wheat fields of SE Washington.
Just checking in. As a resident of Pullman, WA, I'm only able to get down to canyon country once or twice a year, but have been doing so religiously for nearly twenty years. Along with a small hardcore group of people from around here, my primary interests in the canyons has been long technical backpacking and route finding.
But as I've gotten older (weaker and lazier as well), I've started trying to design trips that do not require lugging around loaded-down packs for a week at a time. My other interest include photography and geology, and I have found the Colorado Plateau to be a bottomless cookie jar of both.
I have some specific questions concerning the Robber's Roost area, but I'm not sure the proper place to ask. Feedback?
Thanks for the welcome,
