CENTRISTS espouse a "middle ground" regarding government control of the economy and personal behavior. Depending on the issue, they sometimes favor government intervention and sometimes support individual freedom of choice. Centrists pride themselves on keeping an open mind, tend to oppose "political extremes," and emphasize what they describe as "practical" olutions to problems.

Doesn't really seem like me, whatevs.

    I'm a Centrist too!!!
It's only "science" if it supports the narrative.

Full on librarian... I meant libertarian.

I think this quiz though is geared towards libertarian. Just agree with every single question. It doesn't really ask about Pro Life issues, immigration, or any of the other issues "others" seem to stand for. Don't get me wrong, I'm a full on Ron Paul fanboy. See my other post in the political section.

http://glassbooth.org/ is probably a better website for finding ubiased info on who your votes should go for IMO. little more versatile.

I've liked this quiz better than the first. You get to rank the importance of the questions.

I was a majority centrist/libertarian with a little liberal leaning last time I took it a couple years ago.

Good test. The only thing about it is that politics is a circle and not a square. Get too conservative, and you will be liberal and viceversa.

Perhaps it is a circle but that is where I see the square labels better than linear liberal vs. conservative. Look how some liberals (communist, socialist) want to control individuals lives. Same goes for their conservative counterparts (fascists). So on the square communist would be liberal and authoritarian and fascists would be conservative and authoritarian.

Now compare this to the complete opposite, your liberal professor who wants to legalize pot, prostitution, etc. This person is a liberal and libertarian (Mike Gravel would be this type of politician). Also a conservative and libertarian that want the same things too (Ron Paul). I think it covers just about everything. Too many times we say left vs. right, but it is also authoritarian vs. libertarian government policies too.

I'm cool with liberals, I even subscribe to a couple of their ideas, but anyone who says they are a full on authoritarian needs a headcheck.

    Sphere is more aptly said.
