    Johnson Canyon Rd - GSENM

Canyon Country 4x4 Club had a monthly trail ride on Sunday. We went up Johnson Canyon Rd, just East of Kanab, off Rt 89. Our first stop was back to
an unnamed canyon that was rugged and beautiful. The ride in was on moderately deep, sandy roads. Minimum pinstriping!

We went on to the area called Montezuma's Cave but I'm depending on my wife to have taken some decent shots.

    Album for this is here:

Montezuma's Cave is an underground lake? I guess the water is no good I'd picture that water being nicely chilled

The underground lake is located in another area. Sorry for the confusion.
Jumar did a post on Montezuma's Cave and I'll just add to that.

The lake was easily accessed by driving in past Best Friends and going down into the canyon instead of doing the loop. The water was COLD!

Underground Lake, I didn't have a flash but it's right inside:

There was a geocache here a few years back. Not sure if it's still there or not.
