Geo Metro - The Ultimate Outdoor Vehicle

Just snapped these today, across from Sinclair - Adventure's first stop.

I was impressed to see a kayak and mountain bike tied up to this 4 door off road delite.

Along with the bike and kayak being added weight, throw in two or three people and you'd be lucky to have enough ground clearance to clear a McDonald's straw thrown out at curbside. Geo Tracker would be a little more ideal.

That right there is the making of an OWNED pic

Think I'd push that kayak forward just a bit, otherwise it might tip that Metro.

Hey I used to have the 2 door Geo Metro. Those little things got almost 50 MPG I sure wish I had one now.
    See you on the Trail

love the geo metro. i used to fly into vegas from anchorage. cheapest rental cars in the country. we would get the cheapest car available. usually a geo metro. then we would go rally the thing all over the desert. out to the end of the slickhorn road, end of the hole in the rock road. up to batty pass caves. just had to drive judicously and remember where the oil pan is located. cant believe that 3 cylinders can do 75mph. got my only speeding ticket in richfield doing 80 in the metro.
But if I agreed with you, we would both be wrong.

I used to have a Pontiac Sunfire coupe that looked like that metro from time to time. I was between trucks and needed to get my kyak to the lake. My kayak is 16 feet long, picture that.
shoot straight, cast far, and hike all day.

How about a 16'9" Old Town Discovery Canoe mounted on top of a Suzuki Samurai

Hmmm I drive a Civic to work, due to my long commute. Lately, it has been the car of choice going down to Southern Utah over all the big massive 4wd vehicles.

I have been known to follow marc's awesome land rover into the "off road"

So at $120 per barrel oil prices, I think I will go with my civic for the ultimate outdoor vehicle

FYI, last trip to Hanksville from SLC cost us $48
