    White Sands, NM

We spent a few days cheering on our USU Aggies at the WAC tourney last week down in Las Cruces New Mexico. We took a few side trips to kill time between games. One out to White Sands Missle range and National Monument. It was super windy at the dunes and absolutely blinding with the sand and bright sun. It looks like a cool place to visit, but not during a 60 mph wind storm. We also took in a bit of Mexico in Juarez where we picked up some tequila for a friend. Aggies choked in the second game, but we enjoyed the trip and the 70 degree weather.

Looks like a snowstorm in Utah! Dang that looks brutal! Looks as though there is still a surplus of Tequila in Mehico~!

Too bad about the Utes and the winds. White Sands is a great place, but not when windy. The frequent winds are responsible for blowing the gypsum into the dunes, which change constantly. We enjoyed 70 mph winds there once, but stayed inside all day. I can't imagine going onto the dunes under those conditions.
