The Bogley Trifecta: Nipples, Nudity, and Neuroscience
Maybe some of you have seen this but considering that it involves nipples and has not been posted here on Bogley, maybe not. It's an interesting study (ahem) in brain science with different people seeing different things.

Funny, when I first responded she was going clockwise after I submitted my vote, counterclockwise
Ahhh, after so many revolutions, she changes direction They vary, but she does change.

She doesn't just randomly switch directions. My wife and I just watched her and I saw her going clockwise and my wife saw her going counterclockwise.
Test it out: get two or three people to look at her at the same time and state the direction they see her spinning.
It's wild! I'm sure there's some fun transformational mathematics that could explain this. It's alot like the Necker cube. The gostak distims the doshes.

If I watch long enough I see her go both ways when she is turning clockwise her left leg is on the ground and counter-clockwise her right foot is on the ground.

I thought it was peripheral vision, but now she is spinning all over the place... so I have no clue how this is happening...

Clockwise for me... does this not have something to do with if you are right or left brained?

I don't know enough about the left-brained vs. right-brained thing to comment on it other than to say that I've seen it used as as explanation.
The biggest factor is that you have a three-dimensional representation in two-dimensional space and there are no depth cues. It is similar to the Necker Cube below. Is the red dot on the front face or is it on the back face?
Two people can look at both images at the same time and see completely different things. And, the same two people can experience changes in what they see at completely different times. The gostak distims the doshes.

looking at the cube - if I look at the bottom right side the dot is in the foreground, when I shift at look upper left the image shifts the ball to the back...wierd.

I can see the dot in both planes, but can only see the girl going clockwise, no matter how hard I try to see her going counter clockwise I can't see it.

When I watch her, she still changes direction

Find a friend to watch the naked lady with you and see if they see the changes in direction at the same time as you.
The changes in direction are not because her motion is different but just because of how you mind processes the image. The gostak distims the doshes.

If clockwise, then you use more of the right side of the brain and vice versa.
Most of us would see the dancer turning anti-clockwise though you can try to focus and change the direction; see if you can do it.

seriously, when i first looked she was going counterclockwise... I read a few posts and went back and she's going clockwise.
Which way does she spin after a little "peyote"?

Well, I stared at it for quite a while.
And then I realized I was supposed to analyze it.
So, no matter how hard I try, I can't see it going clockwise. Only counter clockwise - or, turning to her left.

Yep, counterclockwise in my brain. . .

I'd have to agree that she changes direction.
I saw counter clockwise at first, then clockwise, then counter again and right in front of my eyes, her left foot went from swinging to standing.
She changes.Lost On A Hill
