    Web Hosting Options for richardbarron.net

I am chagrined to say that my long-time web host, mysitespace.com, has radically altered their hosting, in what they called a "migration," but what looks to me like massive outsourcing. As a result, I am very disappointed in their new "improved" hosting, and may be in the market for someone else. I am wanting something of a bargain, maybe $7 to $10 a month, and need about 20GB of space and maybe 500GB of monthly transfer. An initial search reveals hosts like GoDaddy.com fit those parameters. Who do you guys like? Who should I avoid?

    Thanks in advance. -R

    www.1and1.com would fit your needs.

www.mediatemple.net is above your listed budget. But these guys are awesome. Prolly more than you need though.

I just use Yahoo. I love it. Everything goes through one email and most everything I do is on yahoo.

    I'm on godaddy. It's cheap. 3 bucks a month I believe.

I'd fly with Go Daddy for the simple reason they hired Danica Patrick as their spokes person.

Don't talk unless you can improve the silence.
The trout do not rise in the cemetery, so you better do your fishing while you are still alive. SGH

Thanks everyone for the great advice. I ended up going with http://www.ipowerweb.com. The transition is already in progress!
