    Hiking Invite for Sunday - Observation Point in Zion

    Bo and I are meeting at 10am at the Weeping Rock parking lot if anyone wants to join us.

    Although I can never make it on your trips (because I live in the "other" Southern Utah) I just wanted to say thanks for all the invites - your trips look like great fun. Maybe one of these days.

    I hope you do join us one of these days. Felicia and hubby are going to come and their friends and a couple of Bo's hiking partners (ex SAR team type), so it should be a fun day. If our favorite peak baggers, CP and DB show up for dinner after it will be all the better.

    lots of snow down in the weaping rock area, the trail up looks WHITE!

    We went up to the end of court of the patriarchs today, there was 12-16" at the top, which is substantialy lower than observation. I was wondering if parts of observation might be drifted across.

    There is usually a lot of ice along the trail in the winter. Hopefully we can get up all the way, if not we can just go and shoot some other areas in the canyon.
