Speaking of checks! If you get a check from Aspen Outdoor Products Inc. It really means Outdoor Outlet! Our envelopes are "Green"...recycled! So are the checks! Hopefully you won't have to "recycle" the check?!?!

Ok, promoting Bogley as of tonight. It's a forum I frequent, heh, and this particular thread is about me quitting smoking almost 3 months ago:

BTW, do we have any smokers here?

Used to socially. I've been known here and there, couple times a year to have a smoke. It's gotta be a darn good occasion. So I don't know what you call it?

I quit in January of 2007. . I still crave them, especially when I'm out in what seems like the middle of the ocean, with nothing to do but wait on the guys that I'm transporting.

agree! It's normally an alcohol induced activity.

Good for you! I never was a hardcore smoker so I don't know what it's like to quit, but I hear it's very hard to those that have a true nicotine addiction. SUCKS!!!!!! I know people to struggle with it and I feel really bad for them.

Stay strong bbennett. I was surprised my cravings were not as bad as the first time when I quit. But yeah, having nothing to do does make you think about stupid things, like smoking ;-) Just remember, it's killing you, it's expensive, and the ladies don't like it.

Thanks Abirken and Kapitan. And huge congratulations to you KapitanSparrow for a good 3 months. I'm sure you're already starting to feel better. Keep it up!

Honestly, I don't think I'll cave to the cravings because I also remember how stupid I felt doing it. In fact, a couple of months after I quit, in a post coital, "alcohol induced activity", I tried one just to see what it was like. I remember vividly how shitty it tasted and how nauseas it made me feel. I was actually perplexed as to how I got past that and started in the first place.

I just added the link to my personal site (actually the blog on my personal site). Old school text link, but will be updating with the kick-ass logo.

Remember kids, don't try this at home. Try it at someone else's home.
