    History or Choke?

This years Superbowl will become famous for history being made or the biggest NFL choke of all time. which are you hoping to see?

This is not about which team you think will win, it's about which team you hope will win (or lose).

    Ready, Set, Go.....

Sorry, Ice, but I can't choose between those choices. Seeing history won't bother me at all, but if the Giants win it won't necessarily mean the Pats choked. The Giants nearly beat them in the regular season, and have beaten some good teams since. Either team can win this one, and I will be happy either way. I think it will be historic either way.

BTW, my once favorite Baltimore Colts established the biggest Super Bowl choke in history in 1969. It will likely never be topped, although the Buffalo Bills and Minnesota Vikings came close.

Either way, I will be happy. Especially if the Bears win. :)

    CHOKE!

But I have about a 0% hope of it actually happening.

I would like to see History, look back 20 years from now and tell my kids that I had tickets to that game and gave them up?? What a dumbass I am.

Two wheels are better than four, keep the rubber side down.

For what it's worth..... Three times in NFL history a team has made it to the Championship game undefeated. The 72 Fins are the only team to go undefeated the entire way....

Anyone know the other two teams that made it undefeated to the championship game and lost???

This also shows that if the Pats lose they will go down in history as nothing but a footnote, they win and we have to hear about them as the greatest team ever for the next 40 years....

And I think if the Pats lose its a major choke.... we could play this Superbowl 10 times and the Pats would win it 9 of those 10.

Well, I still don't think it was a choke job, just a great win by the Giants. their defense matched up well and played the kind of pressure game needed to mess with Brady. The only element of choke I thought was Belichick going for it on fourth and 13 rather than try a 49 yard field goal.

It was a very enjoyable game, and historic in its own way.
