Bo... of course you are nominated.
Permit Experts
What is the process for others that want to apply for permits. I know there is an online way to do it, but don't they have to go and take some class first?
What is our best bet right now to get more permits other than what you can get?
Getting Das Boot and the Subway would be cool. We could do the Russel Gulch entry so they can get in 3 - 100' rappels too! -- then all the fun downclimbs in Das Boot and the beauty of the Subway. Then of course the delightful uphill hike out. -- or if there is not enough permits some can do Russel Gulch, some Das Boot and all meet in the Subway?

Shane, you HAVE to come!!!! I don't see how it can be a "true" bogleyFest without "certain" players.
I'd like to do Das Boot & Subway, but the lottery isn't running for June yet!
I would need a navigator for this one, as I can't be trusted
to read, draw or follow a map.
I have ropes & know how to use them for what its worth, so I am "good' for something!
Canyons I could lead without navigational help
would be Keyhole & Pine Creek....
Anyone have an interest in those canyons?
We could do both in one day.
What about hidden from the top?
Anyone interested in that one?
I've hiked up from the bottom and it's really beautiful, but I've not done it from the top.
Or I could "help" out on anything really. If the shoe fits ~ pretend it doesn

How did you get a permit for Subway Bo? Oh that's right - you've got connections!
I would like to do this one on Sat., but if I'm needed somewhere else, I'll go wherever I'm needed.
I thought you were undecided Shane ~ happy to see you're going to be there.
Hank should be number 20!!!!!

No permits... we will do non-permitted canyons unless some problems get worked out. But everyone still apply for them.
I think your post just said something like right on with what is going on.. right?
Oh dang! Sorry Randi! I was replying to your post and wrote over it! I am so sorry!!!!If the shoe fits ~ pretend it doesn

My wife hasn't done Pinecreek yet. So I would love to get her in there. I also would love to do Das Boot. Of course the Permits make for problems. I will do whatever but I'm crossing my fingers.
The man thong is wrong.

Tanya - I don't know how you are compiling your list.... but make sure everyone on it is committed in the next week or so. That way you can open up the empty slots.
At the Black Hole fest we only had one no-show..... at the 2007 Zion fest we had zero no-shows....
My rule when organizing trips is if you commit and then flake without removing your name you are not welcome on anther trip I organize.... it's only common curtesy and common sense.
