Angry Employee Deletes All of Company's Data

Call it a tale of revenge gone wrong.

When Marie Lupe Cooley, 41, of Jacksonville, Fla., saw a help-wanted ad in the newspaper for a position that looked suspiciously like her current job

It sucks that her job never was in jeopardy also.

I worked for a company that I hated. I contemplated wiping out their whole database with an Excel sheet upload.

And no, it wasn't Great Western. I never hated those guys.

Dang, that is funny. Guess she can't get a reference out of them either.

I took some post-its once 'cause I'm an outlaw.

Would that be the company that you made that one video of?

Sometimes it seems we have all the crazies here in FL. Then I read a few posts from bogley.

So, even if her assumption was correct, what kind of future employment would she expect with that on her resume (record)? And what kind of computer-dependent company doesn't back up their files? And recovering deleted files isn't tough at all. Try getting them off a portable hard drive after it is run over by a bus. Or recovering files from a hard drive that went through fire. Those are tough.

BTW, Beech, is that your sister? The family resemblance is overwhelming.
