    coming soon. . .new baby girl

    My wife is scheduled to be induced tomorrow. Today the doc said she should be all set for tomorrow. This is our third. We have two boys (5 & 2) and are thrilled to have a girl this time. I'll give updates as I have them. Boy do those delivery rooms make me nauseous.

    Congratulations in advance! Little girls are so special to daddies!

    My wife was induced for the second (our girl). It was incredible - the doctor applied the gel, and went home for dinner - it was supposed to take a couple of hours or so. 20 minutes later, he had to be called back, and almost missed the whole thing! She was more than ready to come out!

    Hope all goes smoothly - keep us posted when you can!

    Never heard of a gel application but if they introduce the Pitocin drip into the IV hold on to your hat because within minuets she will be contacting hard. If she is getting an epidural make sure she gets it at the same time as the Pitocin or before.. Assuming she wants an epidural....

    2 boys and now a little girl! Guess who's going to be spoiled?

    Congratulations to you and your wife! We just found out the next addition to our clan is going to be another girl. Seems like that's all we get is girls! My poor Dad........he came from an all boy family, his brothers all had sons and he had all girls. When my youngest sister was born, there were 31 babies in the nursery - all boys except her. I think my Dad tried to bribe someone to switch babies.
