The Wave Invite for Sunday

We need something new.... something to do in the snow.... We have only been shut out once due to weather... this might be twice.

Any suggestions in the area we like to go? Staircase, Zion, Bryce, North Rim, Paria Canyon, Dunes? --- and of course we try and do something we have not done, unless there are some great conditions for photos or something.

Looks like we are going to try and get permits for the Wave and explore the North Coyote Buttes area. If anyone is interested let us know today so I can try and get enough permits for Sunday. It might snow though so it won't be an easy day of hiking.

Bo just called the BLM and I need to go and get the permits now, so let me know quick if you want to go!

Oh man I wish I lived further south. Bloody hell! Beech and I need to get down there soon and hike with you guys. But his knee is all muffed up.

I just got home from getting the permits and Bo invited a friend so I have to go back and get him a permit. I will pick you one up too.

So 4 of us are going. Meet me in Mt. Carmel Jct. at the Chevron at 8:30am and we will meet them in Kanab at 9am.

It will be raining so dress for rain... might snow too, but rain for sure.

It was a fun trip with great weather! It snowed most of the day.. which is always enjoyable (if ready for it!) --- but we had very little good sun to shoot with. Here are a couple of shots of Bo and Bruce. A friend, Tim, was with us too, but since he is not in this group I won't post his photos. PS... the road to the Wave Trailhead is ALMOST impassable when wet.
