Great Sand Dunes National Park
I took a quick trip to Pueblo, Colorado last motn (December) and while enroute, stopped off to see this park. Beautiful scenerey and I now have an interest to hike in the Sangre de Christo Mountains during the summer season.

sangre de christos are something else. there's a jeep trail that heads over from salida to the back side of the dunes. google it and mark some gps points and you'll be good to go.
