Christmas Eve Hike to House on Fire Ruins
We took the kids out for a short hike to tire them out on Christmas Eve. It was nice weather and the kids had a ton of fun breaking all of the ice in the creek all the way up the canyon. There were only a couple places where there was water and a couple of the kids got wet but that only seemed to add to the fun. Hot chocolate and donuts at the end of the hike helped. Here are some pics.
The gostak distims the doshes.

Sounds fun! Donuts and hot chocolate after too! Your kids are lucky to have you, I would be stoked to do that on Christmas eve.

Gotta be a good hike in winter. I went there last April. Lots of water, no ice, but also no sun to light up the rock.
