Cross Country for Beginners
I want to take up cross country sking. Anyone know any good places around me... Bryce, Zion, Cedar Mountain, etc... I would rather not go to commercial places like Brianhead. I really want my kids to get into this too.

Tanya..I'll need to get you some "Skins" ordered for those skis. I forgot to tell you that they are waxable skis. You won't get any uphill grip unless you learn how to wax them or use ski-skins. Just head up the road what is it Rt. 12? that goes to cedar breaks, They close the highway to Cedar breaks and it makes for good skiing because the snowmobilers pack the road down. You then can head off the road and follow snowmobile tracks. The terrain is pretty mellow and won't make you work too hard.
